Taught sections of English Composition I designed for bilingual and non-native English speaking students. Contributed to course design, designed and maintained course page in university LMS, developed materials, gave feedback, etc.



Language Institute at Georgia Institute of Technology                                  June – August 2012

Taught courses in English for specific purposes for incoming international graduate students at Georgia Tech’s College of Management and Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. Collaborated on course design, created materials, provided feedback on language in use, coordinated with fellow teachers, etc.

Intensive English Program, Georgia State University                                    Aug 2006-Aug 2009

Teach English for academic purposes to students from various countries through content-based courses.  Plan lessons, develop lesson materials, assess students, and collaborate with other instructors to prepare students for university matriculation.  Design and maintain course websites on uLearn web platform.

·         Academic Writing for University Exams – Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate         (2 semesters)

·         Reading and Listening for Academic Purposes – Upper-Intermediate (3 semesters)

·         Oral Communication for Academic Purposes – Advanced (2 semesters)
